Shoul I continue taking Meg Access and the other pills?

I’m 34 yrs old and I have 4 kids. I never understood why I was always so thing and I hate it. My Dr. gave me Meg Access to gain weight, which I did from 100 pound to 118 now. I'm happy now with my weight. Dr. did the thyroid test and came out that I have THS 23.39HI, Thyroxine (T4) 5.0 and T3 (THYROINE) Total 91. My questions is If I start taking this pills (SYNTHROID 50MCG) Will I loose my pounds again. I don’t want too. Should I continue to taking the Meg Access again? Another thing I just started taking them and feel awful. I feel like  if my glands are going to pop out of my mouth and did not felt like this before. Is this normal.

Treating hypothyroidism does not necessarily cause weight loss -- usually it is weight neutral.  With the hypothyroidism and the history of unintentional weight loss - consider testing adrenal gland (am cortisol should be >11 -- if not needs further testing) to exclude the unlikely but possible diagnosis of Addison's.
