red pimples or rash on back

I noticed that I have batches of red bumps on my back. Some of them had whiteheads in them, some did not.
It is only on my back. They do not itch. Because they are there all at once and only on my back is strange. In the past, if it was pimples, they don't show up all at once and there have only been one or two. I must have about 6 clumps and they are about 1/4" to 1/2'' apart from each other when they are clumped together. Never seen this before.
I had a sore throat a couple of days ago and a cold and cough has now developed and I have a sour stomach today.
Any clues. Thanks
