Unknown Bumps On Penus

A few years back I noticed some unkown bumps around the shaft of my penis, I went to a doctor about it and he said it was normal for a young adolescent,  though I questioned his judgement because he barely looked at the situation, I just went on thinking it would go away, but it hasn't gone away I am not sexually active so I've ruled out HPV or Herpes, The Bumps do not hurt its more of an annoyance that they are there and I dont know what they are or how to get rid of them. I looked online figuring it was just genital acne and I read Benzoyl Peroxide cream can help, so I tried that for a while and the bumps are still there. I was thinking about going to a doctor again but I thought I'd try here first.

I'd Appreciate Your Advice

Hello,

Without external examination it is very difficult to confirm a diagnosis, but the various possibilities for your symptoms are folliculitis(visible as small nodules or might only be felt as small lumps in the skin commonly with a hair arising from centre) , pearly penile papules(multiple, small (about 1-3mm) papules running around the circumference of the crown of the glans penis) , Fordyce spots (small (1-5mm) bright red or purple papules that can appear on the penis and usually effect younger men) or sweat dermatitis or contact dermatitis(appear as red small lumps with itching or burning).

You should keep the area clean, wear lose comfortable clothes to avoid sweating, use a powder to keep the area dry  and use calamine lotion at the sites. Oral antihistamine medications would help if the lesions are itchy. If no symptoms are there, then pls leave them as sucha s they might be folliculitis or Fordyce spots which are normal in men.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted if you have any additional doubts.

Well I am not a doctor, but I am going to nursing school as we speak and I would deff say you need to go back to the doctor. It might possibly be like a skin growth or maybe an irritation which can happen often but you need to go see someone becuz if it hasnt gone away yet thats not good. Sorry I couldnt be more of a help!
