Tiny lump in lower lip

by trin2314, Feb 06, 2007 12:00AM
I have a little lump in my lower lip that has been there for several months. It kind of hurts and feels tingly when I press on it but is not visible. I have convinced myself that it is scar tissue left over from cold sores. I frequently get cold sores, generally in the same location on my lip, which is where this bump is. Does this sound like a reasonable explanation?

Hi,

Nothing can be said with surety without having a look at the lesions.

It would be ebst to consult your doctor for a clinical examination and to find out the cause of the lesion.

Keep your lips well moisturised and use a medicated lip balm with sunscreen whenever you go out.

Drink plenty of water and eat a healthy balanced diet.

Let us know about what your doctor advises.

Regards.
