Thank u so much, I will talk to my doctor about the laranxophageal. I really appreciated you help.
Sue
You might be experiencing what's known as LPRD, laranxophageal (sp?) refux. Basically, that's when acid makes it up all the way from your stomach to your throat. It might not be in the esophagus long enough to do any damage, but the tissues in the upper throat are considerably more sensitive.
I recommend going to your doc as soon as possible. In the mean time, in case you have to wait, try to follow a GERD diet (do a search online, there's info everywhere), increase your protein (low fat) intake, and consider getting an over the counter antacid, like Zantac, Pepcid, or even Prilosec OTC.
Good luck.
