Recent Ecco for fast heart rate & sweating

My daughter has a brain tumor (mutated meningioma) located in the jugular foramen, temporal, posterior fossa and affecting the 4th thru 10th cranial nerves of the brain stem. She had a partial resection in 2005 but rest is inoperable due to the neurological damage that would be done in trying to remove the remainder. She has now started having increased hot flashes with sweating that can sometimes soak her clothing, rapid heart beat (papaltations) with a flip flop feeling, shortness of breath with miminal activity, some confusion. Some symptoms were mild due to tumor but getting much worse in the last 4 weeks. Just had an ecco that showed low ejection and the left ventricular septum hardly moved. She is also on 50mg of fentynol (patch) & diludid 8mg 4x daily for break through pain (takes these meds through pain mgmt for the tumor pain) also takes provigal to counter act the meds. doc put her on halter monitor today and will do stress test on thursday. She is 30 yrs old. Also, seems to have broken out with acne type pimples on face and chest area (normally only has a mild pimple or two with menstrual cycle) acne seems larger like pimples. She also had surgery in August from a hemmoraghic ovarian ruptured cyst that caused her to bleed internaly (doc removed 3 liters of blood & fluid) repaired rupture. It seems she also has continued to run low grade fevers after this surgery with none higher than a 100....over are 99.1 or so. We are very concerned, please help sort this out. Thank you

I will focus on your cardiac concerns as this is a cardiac forum:
First, I'm so sorry for your daughter's illnesses. I would suspect that she may have some degree of autonomic dysfunction depending on the tumor location-- however, if her ejection fraction is very low then it may be that she has high heart rates due to that. I'm not sure why her ejection fraction is low but sometimes chronic or very severe illness can be associated with a weakened heart muscle. It is also possible that she had or has an infection given her fevers and that the infection has also caused damage to the heart. I would make sure you discuss this with a cardiologist familiar with her background.
