Can anyone answer??

When i was pregnant with my daughter aged 17 i experienced something quite 'weird'. It was around 6pm and i was laid watching TV feeling quite tired when i started to forget the names of the characters on the TV show id watched for years, then my vision on my left side became blurred,my speech was slurred and i couldnt move. I forgot my Mums name as i was trying to call her but further more i couldnt move or speak! Natually this alarmed me and my mother and we went straight to the Maternity Home. All they did was test the strength in my left hand! One side of my face is slightly lower than the other now and i have a sort of lisp. Can anyone tell me,judging by the symptoms, what could have happened, what the doctors should have done and what i should or could do now?? Any advice would be greatly accepted as this is a question that has been on my mind for five years!!!

sounds like it was a stroke... those are the symptoms. the speech impediment, the drooping face on the left side and not being able tomove any of your left side when it happened. do some research on strokes... see if it fits... if it was there really isn't anything you can change about the results
