Never feeling cold/ sweating

I have seen that im not the only one with this 'problem' and yet there seems to be no cure. Im a 19 year old student, fit and play sport and work out most days. It is now the latter part of november and the temperatures are currently about 5 degrees C (41 F) and i find myself sweating despite wearing shorts and a t shirt. Anytime the temp is any more than 15 C i find it too hot and sweat loads. My brother is much the same, a few years older but he too wears shorts for maybe 2 or 4 weeks a year otherwise feels too hot. Also, i very rarely seem to get ill, infact i probably havent been ill in the last 4 or 5 years (dont know if this relates or not). Is there any reason why i dont feel the cold or am i just lucky?

kindd, i did think when i was looking about it originally that it could be that but looking at the symptons (by googling it), the only one i have is the sweating. My heart rate is low (usually 55 to 60), my weight is stable but slowly increasing, my muscle strength is good (in fact i seem to build muscle easier than most), my appetite is big but always has been (same as everyone in my family). Is it still possible that i do have hyperthyroidism from what i have described there?

Hello,

Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but these symptoms are suggestive of hyperthyroidism. Hyperthyroidism is overactive tissue within the thyroid gland, resulting in overproduction and thus an excess of circulating free thyroid hormones: thyroxine, triiodothyronine (T3), or both.

I sincerely advise you to consult a physician and get your thyroid status evaluated.

I hope that helps. Please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Warm regards.
