Limitations of Exercise After Stent Implant

I have just experienced a stent implant in my right coronary artery. It was 95% blocked. I am 51 years old. I was in good physical condition before the surgery. I was consistent in working out on the weights and somewhat consistent in running on the treadmill. I trained hard and lifted some heavy weights. I know that I have to start out light, but is there a chance that I could do what I did previous to the surgery, eventually? I mean the same thing as far as heavy weights? Do you know of any profession athletes that have stent implants?

I see that some important things for post stent surgery is regular exercise, but I am worried that I may extend beyond limitations.

What  the average age for surgery of that type?

Eventually, you should be able to go back to your regular routine.  Take it easy for now, especially that your groin is still healing.  I am not aware of any athletes with stents.
