Red scrotum, scabs on head

by eymilin, Jun 08, 2007 12:00AM
4 year old has scattered excoritated lesions throughout scalp 1/2- 1cm in diameter each, 2 excoriated lesions to back of neck 1/2cm in diameter, one lesion left shoulder 1cm in diameter, that are not tender to palpation. Erythemia around head of penis with pinpoint black, raised spot on dorsal side of penis. Any ideas? Could this be chickenpox and a bug bite?

Hi,

Nothing can be said with surety without having a look at the lesions and a clinical examination.

This could be folliculitis, acne, pimples, fordyce spots or present normally.

Do you have any other associated symptoms?

Let us know about what your doctor advises and post us about any other doubts that you might have.

Regards.
