Sternal Cleft in new born

Hi,
My baby born on 17Nov and she doesnot have Sternal boan developed. She has a U shape on chest without the boan. She doesnot have any other problem now.
Please advice as what/when i need to do to cure this problem.

I'd ask the reconstructive surgeon in the reconstructive surgery forum. I don't think you'd need to do anything right away, but I'd ask for some opinions from knowledgeable surgeons.
