A while back you mentioned that many CFS/Fibro patients tested high for Vitamin D,125. The reason that I ask is because I have been Vitamin D deficient for quite some time. My regular Vitamin D was only 7.1 and is now 49, but my D,125 is doubled the amount it should be, its like 99.

Dr. Klimas: Low vitamin D is a frequent finding even in my sunshine state – Florida - and vitamin D is important to immune health. But I don't now if it was there to begin with or is a consequence of the illness.

Hi gina,

Dr. Trevor Marshall has done research on this. Although his beliefs about vitamin D are controversial, I tend to agree with him. You may want to check out the discussion (poll) on overlapping symptoms in the fibro/CFS forum... I talk about vitamin D and Marshall's thoughts in there.
