Baby's heart rate

I am 19 weeks and 5 days pregnant now. When i was 16 weeks, my baby's heart rate was 100 bpm. I did not think anything of it then, But after comparing the numbers to others i have seen it seems low. Does this mean somethings wrong with my baby?

I am going to be sent to a high risk OB specialist, But i believe that it is because my blood pressure was fairly high in the beginning, although i am on a beta-blocker now and it is doing great. The only 2 times my OB has mentioned the baby's heart beat was at my first visit (at 14 weeks) at which point she said it was good and strong, and sounded good, and at my last visit, when it was 100.

Hi!
Does your baby's heart rate vary? Or is it always around 100?  If it varies upward and downward, It is OK if it occasionally drops that low.  If it consistently runs around 100 without changing, your baby may have congenital heart block.  In that case you would need to see a high risk OB specialist.  It can be taken care of and the baby can be healthy, but it can be tricky to manage, and you need the proper care!

Good luck!
