Wrist Weights

I wanted to improve my Tai Chi and my my Shaolin so i decided to get theses weights but cannot figure out if i should keep them on for a long time. They are 5 lb each and i wanted to know if it is safe to keep them on for days at a time. Are they harmless by any chance?
