Please advise

I finished treatment 10 days ago and still feeling anxious and very tensed. Is like my whole body is shaking. I can see my hands trembling, could this be the sign of the nerve damage?
Is the brain fog reversible?

Hi.......I introduced myself in the "itchy night" thread.  This is my third tx......(first: interferon only...second: a "blind study" and I got the "placebo"....DARN....third: NOW...31/48
Each time I had sx's and both prior times were almost about the same.....all of my sx did clear up...although, gradually...and I remember almost one year later thinking..."wow" I feel "normal"....or whatever I can compare my level of "normalcy" against.   Even tho the sx are "depressing"...I  I feel better than what I did before ANY tx (although, sometimes it is hard to tell) LOL......but tx is ALWAYS improving......and I feel I have nothing to lose....(except my hair..soooo sad....I could list all of my prior and present sx, but I do not have room...LOL......but.....in my prior experience.......my body got rid of the poison and the sx went away........I must be a glutten for punishment.....here I go again.   My inspiration is my husband.  He was "1" and cleared on pegaysy..and has been SVR for over 1 year, it took him about 7 months to feel "right"...I am a 3a....and I am on pegasys.....and I have my fingers crossed.  In most of my "reading" it seems that many people finally overcome the sx in 6 months......more or less.  Good Luck....

I'm shocked to hear this withdrawal subject & I'm also worried too as I'm approaching end of Tx ... Is it true that after Tx we can experience "Withdrawals" Holy Cow I find it almost laughable ... surely this is wrong ... By withdrawals I'm picturing full fledged narcotic withdrawals, Arrghhh please let this be wrong LOL ... Has anyone any info on this one ... Keep Focused on the "Goal"</font>

I feel "high" and like having too much energy. My hands didn't shake while on tx. I have experienced in those 10 days very weird side effects which I didn't have while on tx (nausea, shaking hands, insomnia).I'm back to work but can't focus on anything...

That's what it sounds like to me, remember you've been on this stuff for a very long time, your body is probably saying give me interferon, pretty ironic, huh?

Hey girl, I'll be post tx. 2 months on Tues. I am still having extreme fatique, brain fog and some days are bad! If you are coming off pain meds, you should wean off of them. And like somebody said, don't stop your anti-depressants just yet. I also am still taking klonapin for my nerves @ ad's. I was off pain meds for about 6 wks. I am still having joint and muscle pains. My GP called me in some pain meds to take when my joints are really bad. I tried joint meds. they didn't help. But you'll make it. I was very anxious to feel better. I got lots of energy when I finished tx. But I have learned to just give in and get these meds outta me. I do hear all the time that wash out period is 3 to 6 months. Let us know. You will always be in my prayers, as for everybody here. Much Luv, Cindee

have your hands been shaking during tx. too?    these meds take time to "wash out."   drs. usually allow 6 months for wash out time.   im at 4 mon. post tx. and the anxiety has been slowly better and better.  get bad days occasionally.   dont stop your depression/anxiety meds abruptly.  dont expect too much too soon just be patient.  easier said than done.  many of us have been sick so long we just want it over with and get better NOW.
