AHHHHHHHHHHHHH I've gotten so desperate that all I eat is ice cream and fudgicles - the bumps BURN AND HURT so very much don't they?  I've had them for a long, long time and nothing that I do really helps.

For the bigger ones I've been hitting them with peroxide to try and kill them off.

It's because our mouths are so dry and the germs seem to thrive...but so far nothing I've done from Scope to salt water has really done anything at all.

It just sucks.  I'm sorry you've got them too I really am.

I don't have mouth bumps too bad but if I did, I would first make sure it wasn't thrush.  Only had that once but my goodness what an experience.

May i make a suggestion about the mouth bumps?  You said you use peroxide because you think it kills the germs.  Here is a product I beleive you might try.  It's called Gly-Oxide, it's an antiseptic oral claener and should not burn your mouth.  It's used for all kinds of irritations of the mouth and gums.  If I feel like a tooth is starting to bother me, when I brush, I brush w/the Gly-Oxide on top of my toothpaste.  Does not taste bad either.  OR ,put about 10 drops on your tounge and swish for a few mins....It's used alot on geriatric patiens too

If an of you get any, let me know how it works for you.  I swear by the stuff and have for YEARS.

Good luck......

I feel as if I can give you some help on the mouth sores. They are indeed caused by the interferon. Mine were so bad that I could not eat or swallow. If this is your case ask your Doctor for Fluconazole 150 mg. These come like a dose pack & you take one a week. It took weeks for me experimenting and trying different options. This worked the best for me. I also used Clobetasol Propionate Gel,  0.05%. This you can use all day to aid your mouth. Also, Biotene products-toothpaste, mouth rinse.
You can also ask your Doctor for a script for Magic Mouthwash. All pharmacists are aware of this-it is a solution made by them. If for some reason they are not familiar, I can look up the recipe for you, just let me know. You swish, gargle & swallow this. You can also gargle Milk of Magnesia. As you can see, I did it all. I hope this helps & that you will feel better real soon.
