I was recently dignosed with SLE Lupus, Sjogren's Syndrome, Hep C. How I got Hep C. do not understand. My hematocrit are 45.2 which I assume is great. My SLE is 160 which shot up just in the past year from 140. My Hep is 670,000. My bun/creatinine ration is 30.Creatine Kinase 25, I haven't ever had problems with my kidneys but does this mean I am beginning to have filtering problem of protein? Also, if my test is low on all the above then am I just in the beginning stages and how long does it take for these test to increase?
Hello,
For improving the low creatinine levels, eat a healthy nutritious diet and do regular exercise. There is no medicine as such.
The hematocrit is a test that measures the percentage of blood that is comprised of red blood cells. The hematocrit is used to screen for anemia, or is measured on a person to determine the extent of anemia. The hematocrit is decreased in chronic and recent acute blood loss, some cancers, kidney and liver diseases, malnutrition, vitamin B12 and folic acid deficiencies, iron deficiency, pregnancy, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis and peptic ulcer disease.Eat a healthy diet consisiting of green leafy vegetables and take some iron supplements. If the symptoms persist then pls consult a physician.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted.
Thank you what causes decreased muscle mass? And how can I correct it? So my levels can improve. I also have a low hematocrit. What is this exactly and what is the function of this?Thank for any help.
Hi,
Low blood levels of creatinine are not common and are not usually a cause for concern. They can be seen in people or with conditions that result in decreased muscle mass.
Please be assured and there’s nothing to worry about the same.
I hope that helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
