Very Uncertain

I am 4 weeks pregnant with my second child and I have been bleeding kind of heavy for the past few days. I went to the doctor to have my hcg levels tested and the results were 68. The nurse told me that was a low level so I retest tomorrow and will get my results back Monday. Hopefully, my levels will have risen by then. Any suggestions?

the worst possibilities here are miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy. you may also be having what is known as a threatened miscarriage, which basically means that there is something posing a threat to the baby that may heal itself or result in a miscarriage. i had the latter this pregnancy. all is well now and am 30 1/2 weeks. the best outcome is that you're just bleeding ( which does happen ) and baby will be fine. i wish you the best of luck.
