gallbladder surgery horror

I had my surgery Monday a week ago. I was sent home where I would fall several times that night and the next day. It was like my feet were not strong enough to carry me. I would just drop. I called the drs office Tuesday. His nurse said I had not controlled the pain and it sounded like it was controlling me. I got appointment for that Thursday. He only sees patients 2 days a week. I got to dr appt and he sat across the room from me telling me how my brusing of the whole stomach was not normal. So he wanted me to go do blood work the next morning. I needed to fast for it. I did blood work that Friday morning and hospital lady was calling me to tell me to come in. I was dealing with his on call dr now. I needed 2 pints of blood and would need to be admitted for it. I have remained in pain and have extreme stomach soreness since my surgery. I find out Saturday morning that I need 2 more pints I am still to low. I was passing out from blood loss. I still have these black and purple bruises on my stomach and it moved from left side to right side of center going back. I was told gravity was pulling it to the other side. I got out yesterday morning to go back to the dr Tuesday for a checkup. I am not sitting well with this.

I have been in and out of the hospital since then. They can't find out what is wrong. I am scheduled for catscan of my abdomen and pelvic area. Bruising looks amazing compared to before. They are worried about the pain I am experiencing after surgery. I was reading other logs and see it is common with this sharp pain. They are worried about my liver and its functions. So I got a feeling I will end back up in the hospital again. Thanks for replying.

Go to the ER, is what I recommend.  I'm no expert on surgery, but you are bleeding inside post op, and this will have to be fixed right away.  Four pints of blood within 24 hours is serious, and since your doctor group is going waaaay too slow on this, you'll have to get the emergency room docs and surgeons take care of this for you.  Let us know what happens.
