When frequent, regular contractions begin, your baby is on the way: now’s the time to be in close communication with your provider. Every labor is different, depending on whether it’s a first or second pregnancy or you need to be induced, but you’ll soon be able to meet your baby. A typical baby may weigh 7 pounds, 8 ounces and measure 20 inches at birth. Congratulations!
