What do I do if I forgot my nickname and/or password?
Click the “Login” link at the top right hand corner of the site. Click the “Forgot your Nickname or Password” link located under the login fields. On the next page, enter the e-mail address or nickname that you use to log into your MedHelp account. An email containing a link to reset your password will be emailed to you. When you receive the email, click the link and follow the instructions. You will be asked to enter your new password twice. After you reset your password you will be automatically logged in. Remember that once logged in you may change your password at any time by clicking “Account Settings” on your profile page and clicking the “Password” link.
How do I change my nickname?
You choose your nickname or nickname during the sign up process and cannot be changed on the website. If you need to change your nickname/nickname because you included personally identifiable information, such as your real name, please contact us.
How do I change my password?
After logging into your account, go to My MedHelp, click the “Account Settings” link on your profile page. Click the “Password” link and follow the instructions.
How do I update/change my email address?
After logging into your account, click the “Account Settings” link on your Home page. Click the “Notifications” link and change the e-mail address listed. Upon clicking save, a notification e-mail will be sent to the new e-mail address. Open the e-mail and click on the verification link to update the e-mail address.
How do I update/change my user profile?
Once you’ve logged into your account, there are two ways you can update or change you profile. You can either click on your display picture or click on the “Profile” tab and then select “Edit” in the “About Me” section.
How do I unsubscribe from the emails?
After logging into your account, go to My MedHelp, and click the “Account Settings” link on your profile page. Click the “Notifications” link and uncheck the boxes for the undesired notifications.

What is a Secret Question & Answer and why is it necessary?
A Secret Question & Answer is an extra security measure MedHelp provides to protect your account from those trying to access your profile without permission. It serves as a way to prevent unauthorized users of account from attempting to change your password. It is also required for users of the Personal Health Records (PHR) product.
