What is t-otic?

Uses: This medication is used to temporarily relieve ear pain due to ear infections (external otitis, otitis media). This product contains 3 ingredients. Benzocaine belongs to a class of drugs known as local anesthetics. It helps to numb ear pain. Antipyrine is a pain reliever. Phenylephrine narrows the blood vessels in the ear. This helps the pain medications work longer. This medication does not treat infections. Your doctor may direct you to use another medication (such as acetic acid, antibiotics) to treat the infection.
