What is glucotrol?

Generic Name: glipiZIDE
Glipizide is in a class of drugs called sulfonylureas. It is used to help control blood sugar levels.
Glipizide is used to treat type 2 diabetes along with diet, exercise, and insulin therapy, if necessary.
