What is tykerb?

Drug Name: LAPATINIB - ORAL
Other Brand Names: Tykerb
Uses: Lapatinib is used together with another medication (capecitabine) to treat a certain type of breast cancer (HER2-positive) that has not responded to the standard treatment. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of cancer cells.
