I had an ultrasound today to determine Chloë's weight. Everything looked good. She was estimated at 7lbs 3oz. My baby has gotten rather portly in a month lol.
To Chloë:
You don't know how excited I am that you have grown so much. Mommy loves you very much and looks forward to seeing you in person in a few days.

My weight hasn't changed. My OB checked my cervix and I'm dilated 2 cm. He doesn't think I'll last until my due date. He did a quick ultrasound to make sure it was Chloë's head that he felt during the exam. It was definitely her head lol. He wants to see me again later this week to see if I've made any progress. I hope she comes this weekend!

It's getting so close and we'll see each other soon. I can't believe you'll be in my arms soon. I am so excited. Can't wait to meet you.

I had two appointments today. The first appointment was for an ultrasound to do a biophysical profile of the baby. She's doing great. Her weight will be checked at my ultrasound next week.
My regular OB appointment went as usual. I got my results from the Group B Strep test, which was normal. The doctor said he'll start checking me at future appointments to determine if I'm dilating or not. Unfortunately, there are no appointments available for me next week, so I won't have another OB appointment until the following Monday. Since I'll be having another ultrasound next week, I didn't make a big deal about it.
To Chloë:
My sweet little girl, we're just weeks away from being together. I am excited with every week that passes because I know I'll either see you on the screen or possibly in person. I can't wait!

This visit marks the beginning of weekly appointments. The doctor measured my fundal height and had a little trouble finding Chloe's heartbeat because she was hiding lol. My blood pressure was fine and I gained a pound. I was given the Group B strep test and that was that. I was scheduled for another appointment next week.

It seems like the days are dragging by now. I These last few weeks are the longest weeks of my life. I can't wait to see you for the first time. I love you so much.
