Grad School

Feb 12, 2008 01:36AM - 7 comments

I started Grad school to become an Educational Therapist. After teaching for 10 years, I couldn't take it after three attacks. One by a parent and two by students. I wanted to go to law school, but with all my education and experience as a teacher I decided I needed to use this education I had. I am going to get my Master's in Ed Therapy and work with one student at a time. Adults and children. Sometimes I have trouble with my energy with the Hep C, but I am excited to move on with my life. It's been three years since I have worked, the most I have gone in over 35 years.  I need this to move on, even though I relapsed, I need my live back and to get back to living. I plan on doing this by using the anti fibrotics and pursuing a new career.  I am taking my life back! I may still have Hep C, but I can't let it keep me down anymore.  Now I just have to stay away from the forum and get my homework done!

Had the stomach flu!

Jan 21, 2008 11:36PM - 4 comments

Sorry I haven't been around, maybe some are wondering....

I had the awful flu, then the hubby, then the asst. then the contractor...OH well. Am I responsible now that I am all full of energy after a week of hell?  Sorry for those who got it.  I appologize!  Love you all.

Wanted to go to the first day of class Tues. couldn't.  Good thing I didn't. Projectile vomiting would not have endeared me to the professor the first night out. So I missed my all precious first night grad school class. First thing I MIGHT have done since tx.  I made it to the next day class, but thankfully only was sick afterwards. John, asst. and everyone that has come in contact has become sick, so I thought I would spare you all!  Missed you and hope to post again. What a difference a day makes.. da, da da da, da da.......
