Going to make an appt for TSH bloodwork.  I think I am more hypo than I've been.  Constipateion has ret'd for no reason and it's been gone for 2yrs..I have a direct history to TSH >1.8 and it returns.  Take more Synthroid and it goes away completely!

Also some menopause stuff kicking in .... ugh.  Time for a TSH check I do think.

Does this ever end I ask?

I feel great on the 75mcgs of Synthroid -- Anxiety and Brain Fog is 100% gone!   I cannot wait for my next TSH bloodtest but won't be for a couple of weeks still.  Curious to see what my TSH # is.

Decreased Synthroid from 88 to 75mcgs

Was feeling daily anxiety.. Decreased dosing from 88 to 75mcgs on 5/15/08.  Will retest TSH in 6 weeks most likey and anticipate TSH will go from 1.3 to 1.8 but the quality of life living with anxiety that is med induced outweighs a TSH <1.0 unless my Endo disagrees strongly.  Yes, I'd prefer TSH of <1.0 but the anxiety *brain fog* is not acceptable for daily living unless cancer threat is being strongly enhanced at the 1.8 level.  My normal w/o meds is 2.8.  Last time we decreased my meds my Endo felt that since my normal TSH is 2.8 that 1.8 was okay given the side effects of the anxiety interferring with day to day living.
