With all the issues on the OVCA forum lately, I just wanted to let people know why I stay connected to this forum.

When I came here for help over 2 years ago, I was welcomed and accepted by so many WONDERFUL and STRONG ladies.  My questions were answered, my fears calmed and my virtual hand held through all of my struggles.  I "met" some AMAZING women.  I wanted to stay and some how try to make a difference.............  I have seen so many great things happen to the people here and have seen so many heart breaking things as well.  I've cried, laughed, celebrated and mourned along with you.  I find myself coming here several times a day to check in and see what is going on with everyone.  I feel like I need to give back somehow.  

I will never know exactly what you are going through but please know you have my RESPECT and my prayers and I will fight along with you to find a cure.

.......finally at peace.

We lost a friend a week ago.  She was only 19 and spent her entire young life in so much pain and always in and out of the hospital.  Jaime was a beautiful young lady who was srtiken with Cystic Fibrosis.  She was wise beyond her years and stronger than any adult I know.  At age 13, SHE made the decision to have a double lung transplant.  The family that gave her the gift of lungs, gave her 6 more years of life.  She lived it to the fullest.  Despite being so resticted in her every day life, she did more in her short journey than most people do in twice as many years.......
She was an inspiration and touched so many lives.  She never complained, she never questioned her fate.

I am making a memorial and hope garden.  If you have a special flower/plant/shrub that you think would bring beautiful color or special meaning into my garden, I want to know about it!  If you have lost a loved one to OVCA, let me know what their favorite flower is and I will add the person's name and special plant to the garden.  My HOPE garden will be comprised mostly of plants and flowers that are beneficial for birds and butterflies.  I have started cleaning out areas to plant and have purchased some rose bushes and ordered flowers online.  (I live in planting zone 7)

Let me have your ideas and suggestions.....................

I was hoping y'all could add my niece to your prayer and well wishes list.............
She is 27, a newlywed and is going through a really tough time.  She is having yet another biopsy on her cervix and is terrified.  To top it all off, she had a 3 hour surgery yesterday to try and repair her index finger.  She suffered compound fractures and torn ligaments and nerve damage while playing goalie in a soccer game. She has to have more surgery and is in a really bad emotional state right now.  All prayers and well wishes would be greatly appreciated!!!
