I have just recieved my positive result all biopsys where negative but my dr kept doing blood work. Finally some lab out in California said I had it. I guess it was an antibody test. The colon examine showed a inflamed large intestine . Now he wants me to start on a 40mg prednisone course thats 8 pills a day for two weeks  Then 7 pills a day for two weeks and on and on then if my problem isnt under control I go on it for 2 years straight . Does anyone know how bad this is going to be I know I have A good chance for MOON FACE which I dont want I am really worried about all the side effect associated with this drug please help if possible .Any replies would be great

I wish Med Help would give in and give us an everyday forum. To my surprise it hasnt happened. I go over to med help suggestions and I notice that all kinds of things are asked for. Guess what most get what they ask for. Me for one I just get tried of posting on a thread just to watch it get deleted.Or to post a question and yep you got it it gets deleted. HUMMMMMMMM. BUGGGGGGGG
Who here in the world wide net dosent agree I mean wouldnt it be nice to talk about other things that happen in life .Especially for the ones who have overcomed there fears or other problems. Maybe I have the wrong idea but I know a lot of people here would agree. It really would be nice.

To all who know me here as alienshadow. As we know we have our fun times here (teak and lizzie) but really the time has come for me. I am sad to say it but as of today the post I made where my last . I hope I have helped many who came here as i did for advice and help . I do have a family and they need me also and these past few days spending time with them in the pool has been so much joy for me and I knew this morning I was done . You guys here are great but we all have to pick up and MOVE ON LOL . Teak I wish you well and hope you live another 75 years . Lizzie have fun at the beach and goodluck on the move all things will work out for you trust me.
