Yesterday 11/4/07 I experienced sharp pain in my right shoulder when taking a breath,  It grabs and takes my breath away. The pain runs from the right side of my neck down to underneath my right should blade.  It doesn't last long however has been consistent since yesterday.  I have had two disc surgeries in the past and am concerned the disc issue has returned.  I have had both upper and lower disc durgeries.  What could be causing the pain in the neck and shoulder on the rt side?
