I decided that one goal I had in mind during this trasitional period was to create a quilt, I just did not know who it was for.  Then, one of my dearest friends took me to lunch a few weeks ago and would not let me pay for my meal.  She knows I am struggling financially and it was so sweet of her.  Not only did she treat me, but she has been there for me unconditionally through this whole situation.  She is so loving, gentle and kindhearted.  So,  I wanted to make her something special as a thank you.  My quilts are always custom and I never follow a particular pattern like a lot of quilters do, which is quite unique.  I love making originals!  Enjoy the pictures.
