placenta Accreta

After two years of trying, in 1994 I had a child who was born by C-section, but during this pregnancy when I was in at the end of my first tri-mester I started to bleed.  I was bleeding so bad that in seconds after feeling that something might be wrong I ran to a bathroom but the blood was already down to my knees.  I went to the emergency room and they went ahead and did an ultrasound immediately and but they couldn't find anything.  The blood was so red that they knew it was fresh blood but they it didn't look like I was miscarrying and there was nothing showing up to make a final decision.  I was sent home and called my doctors and they told me to just stay off my feet and the next day to come in and they would do another ultrasound.  Well they never found out what caused it, we never new why, the baby was okay and I was two weeks after my due date since she wasn't coming on her own, and I ended up with an Emergency C-section and the doctors never found any signs of what might of caused the bleeding.   Four years later and a different doctor,  I got pregnant again, and had no problems getting pregnant.  I had a few level 2 ultra sounds since the scar tissue from my previous C-section was way to hard for my doctor to see and make sure things were okay.  All my ultra sounds came back fine no signs of anything.  My doctor scheduled me a C-section(he felt I already had C-section prior) two weeks before my due date.  I went in everything looked great and while knowing what a C-section should be like I started to realize it was taking a lot longer than my past C-section but the doctors weren't saying much.  I felt the pressure on my chest then all I can see is the doctors scrambling.  Well, they finally got her out still not saying much, instead of getting the baby immediately it took a little longer, but shortly after they finally brought her over to us, looking as beautiful as ever.  Shortly after holding her they take her back and send my husband out to tell the family.  Now again I know exactly how long it should take the doctors but it doesn't go as planned and nothing is being said to me.  Finally after about 10 minutes my doctor just says after the procedure he will later explain what is going on, he knew I knew something was up.  That after noon when my doctor was doing rounds he came by, at that time he explained to me that the reason the surgery took longer than normal was that he had to do some extra surger to repair my uterus since I had Placenta Accreta.  He explained what that meant and that I could still have children that he was able to save my uterus but if I decided to have more children that it would be at a high risk pregnancy, that may have alot of complications for me or for both me and the baby.  Also,  if I decided to have more kids that I could expect to loose all bladder functions for life due to the fact that next time the placenta would not only grow into the uterus wall but it would grow into my bladder next.  We also discussed the facts about my first pregnancy(he wasn't my first childs doctor at that time) and that the bleeding was probably where the placenta attached but somehow tore away from the uterus causing me to bleed so bad and it probably just repaired itself at that time.  After much research me and my husband decided we had two healthy, beautiful children and he had a Visectomy.  My youngest is now 9 she has a learning disability and had ADHD, I have tried to research anything on the effect of Accreta on a child and haven't been able to find anything.  I would love to know if anyone has any information on the effects it has on these children, can it cause them any type of dissabilities wether major or minor, does anyone have the same questions as I do and/or is there any answers you have on it?  Very interest in answering any questions someone might of experienced or is experiencing, I am also interested if anyone has any answers for me on the these effects for my child or if you have any source to get information on it.  Thanks for reading my story.
