I am just now beginning to experience nauseau but no vomitting yet.  My appt. is now 2 1/2 weeks away so hopefully everything will be ok until then.  I did not even "feel" pregnant before, but I am being reminded daily with these symptoms and ever so happy about it!

hcg levels

Jun 17, 2008 09:26AM - 1 comments

hcg levels that were tested on this day were 180.  The nurse said that puts me between 2-3 weeks past conception, which is correct. With my last m/c my levels were 364 and then dropped to 150 two days after.  I don't know exactly how far along I was, but based on EWCM about 7-8 weeks.  So 3 more weeks to go and I will pass that date!

So..

Mar 27, 2008 08:59AM - 0 comments

So AF came 2 weeks late (which is normal since coming off the pill) and just ended.  I had a blood test done on Thursday (the day before AF showed up) just to be sure since I was cramping like before.  The first day of AF was killer and I couldn't even go into work because cramps were so bad.  Yesterday I finally got results of the blood test (since lab screwed it up and didn't get to OBGYN on time).  My HcG was -2, so I was so not pregnant.  I think I was so anxious to be pregnant this month because I thought it would be neat and ironic to have a baby in December 08 after miscarrying in December 07.  So now I realize it will happen when it was supposed to, unfortunatly this past month when I was cleared to try and conceive I got sick for about 2 1/2 weeks and the hubby was sick a week before me.  So now we are both feeling healthy! But I know it will happen when it is supposed to and I don't want to get caught up in checking my BT or cervix to know when I'm ovulating.  I also won't track when we BD.  I'm 24 and I know it will happen.  My husband and I have talked about this, and we both feel that for now we'll just go with the flow and if after 5 or 6 months no pregnancy - then I'll probably starting tracking things.  Good Luck to everyone TTC and thank you for all your posts because they give me inspiration and hope.

TTC...My story so far

Mar 10, 2008 02:26PM - 0 comments

So here is my story.  In August 2007, my husband and I decided to start a family.  We have been together since high school and just celebrated our 8 years together (married for about 4 years).  So I had been on the pill ever since we started dating (about 7 1/2 years at the time).  I immediatly got my period after I stopped the pill, then go my next period 5 weeks later (in September), then my next one 7 weeks later (in October).  My last period ended 11/1/07.  All of November no period.  My birthday is December 2, so I decided to test, since I should have started my period on November 22.  Tested negative.  Then I began slight cramping for 3 more weeks, thinking everyday I was going to start my period but nothing.  So on December 12, went to the OBGYN who prescribed me Progestrin to take for 5 nights, which would cause my period to start.  He said if it didn't start and I was pregnant, it would be ok to take that because many women take it to prevent miscarraige.  So on December 19, still no period and I had to see the OBGYN for another personal matter "downstairs".  While he was checking me, he checked my cervix and said it was closed and that it doesn't look like I will be starting my period anytime soon.  So the very next day I wiped light brown.  That went on for 4 more days.  Then on Christmas, I began getting bad cramps and bleeding heavily.  I went through 3 super tampons in 4 hours.  I didn't go to the ER because I thought that maybe since I hadn't gotten my period for so long that it's super harsh this time.  The next day I still had the cramps and had bled through a tampon overnight, which I never do.  So I went to the ER.  I had a pelvic and vaginal u/s which showed that I had a cyst on my left ovary, so the MD said that's the reason for the cramps.  Then, they ordered a pregnancy test just to be sure.  Blood test came back positive with HcG of 364.  The MD said either it's the beginning or the end of the pregnancy since the levels are low and there was no sac visual.  So the next night I passed the fetal tissue, then the day after that I had my HcG levels checked again and they went down the 150, so it was officially a miscarriage.  I never thought anything like this would happen to me.  Even though it was almost 3 months ago, it consumes my mind most of the days.  I finally got my period almost 8 weeks after the miscarriage.  I was due for my period this past weekend and have been cramping, but I usually don't cramp before I get my period.  I also have been getting more CM than usual.  I'm going to wait and test until next week, because I don't want to become obsessed with testing and keep getting negative results.  My husband and I aren't necessarily making sure we BD on ovulation days, but at the same time I've really only had 3 periods since August 2007 so I'm not even sure my cycle length.  It only took about 3 months to conceive the first time, so I will give it a couple more months before I start tracking our BDing and so forth.  I track everything else, especially bodily fluids.  Well good luck to everyone TTC!!
