exercise

I feel pretty good today, and I did exercise yesterday for 16 minutes on my exercise bike, and it really did help, although it was hard and I didnt really want to do it.  But after I felt much better.
I started exercising about a month before starting this TX, and I seriously think it has made a big difference, any of you out there considering this TX, start doing a bit of exercise every single day, nothing major, I started at 12 minutes, just be consistent, it will help a bit.
I also think drinking lots of water helps some, I drink about a gallon a day, just sipping on water bottles. I have read that you should drink half your body weight in ounces, I think that sounds about right, although I am going a bit over that, but then I dont sleep much, I have major insomnia and always have.

Well, I spoke to soon about how "fine" I was feeling day after shot 2, by that afternoon I seriously thought I was heading for pneumonia, it was the cold from hell, and lasted most of that day and night.
By the time I woke up today, I didnt feel like I had a cold anymore, but I do feel weak in the extreme.
Kept the vitamins and riba down, but had to split up the vitamins so I am not taking all at once, that helped.
My first labs are next Friday, 3-14-08, I guess that will show whatevers going on with me.  Even though I am weak, I am still going to get on my exercise bike for 16 minutes today, maybe that will help.

The first shot was really scary for me, I seem to have developed a mild phobia about taking any meds.  That said, I knew I had to do something because I really already had most of the SX you all have been descibing before I even started and I felt horrible.
I am Geno 3, and my viral load is 4,237,890, my biopsy was stage 2 fibrosis, I weigh 170lbs, am on pegasys with 800 riba.  I drink about a gallon of water a day, heard that helps with SX, and I try to get on my exercise bike for 16min a day, manage to about 5 days a week so far.
My husband is doing my shots, my hands shake to much and I am in a state of terror for the shot, although have had no adverse problems with the shot itself, just high anxiety I guess.
So shot one was ok, went to sleep and woke up with chills, fever, went back to sleep and was fine when I woke again.
the week was fairly uneventful, got nauseous once and figured it was the vitamins,  I am taking 1000mg C, 800 E, a multi vitamin, and xtendlife omega 3/DHA ester (I call them fish fat pills, lol).  So I went and got different vit C, ester c, easy on stomach stuff, seemed fine for a couple days and easier to swallow then the huge dry c pills I was taking.
Now it is the day after the second shot, didnt get sick really last night, which was great, felt good this morning, took my vitamins with a small breakfast, preparing to take the riba, got half way thru the food and threw up all my vitamins, which sucked.  I feel fine but stomach just doesnt want to hold anything down, guess I will wait a bit to take my riba, dont want to lose that as well. Really all of the SX I already had, so when I say it was fine, I mean it wasnt much different from what I normally feel like, maybe a bit more tired.
Just a note, to all of you out there doing this alone or having to go to work every day, you have my absolute admiration and respect, I dont know how you do it, I dont think I could.  I am very fortunate to have a husband who does everything and makes sure I am ok, and my 16 yr old twins help out as well. It makes it hard financially, my art was actually bringing in money a few years back, but then I got tired and sick and couldnt meet deadlines and now I just hone my mad art skills, for when I am better, then I will tackle becoming a famous full time artist, ha!
Anyways, I have 22 more shots left and I intend to get thru this, any suggestions on how to keep the meds down would be more than welcome.
