I recently went skiing.  By the end of the last day, the upper right area above my tailbone hurt very badly--to the point where I had to resituate the way I sat down.  I went to urgent care about two days later to see if I cracked or bent anything.  They took x-rays and nothing was broken.  However, I did have this read knot on that area that my bum hurt and the doctor said that I was badly bruised and gave me pain medication.  It's been almost a week, and sitting down is getting a little bit easier, but I have noticed that the bruise occassionally oozes light yellow puss.  Do bruises do this?  Do I really have a bruise?  And how can I best allow that area to heal?
