hysterectomy

I had a hysterectomy in summer of 2007, and while a lot of pain has been alleviated, and there were no cancerous cells, chronic pain is returning.  It feels as if, on both the left and right edges of the scar from my anchor cut, I have very sore spots.  Palpation does not expose lumps.  It hurts a lot to stand up when I have been sitting for any amount of time.   The pain is just above the hip bones in the abdomen.  It hurts the same way to climb stairs.  However, I can walk at a leisurely pace and not feel any pain at all, and I can walk for quite a while.  The pain has slowed me down, and I am struggling with a 30 lb weight gain over the last year.  The gain is due to not changing my diet to match the slowdown in movement.  Until my surgeries, I was a pretty active person.
