My first day on Mestinon, and I actually had a readable blood pressure for most of the day. I wonder what my doctor will think the next time he takes my blood pressure, and only has to do it once or twice rather than ten times to get a reading. :)
So, basically it helps, for me it actually helps with some of the Gastroparesis symptoms as well. Unfortunately, it seems to only work for about two hours, then just fall off. Oh well, at least it doesn't crash off like Midodrine. It's a bit more graceful, I notice it, and then it becomes less helpful slowly.
Unlike Midodrine where it just goes from working to no working in like fifty seconds. I used to faint every four hours on that medication. Almost exactly when it wore off because of it's "fall off" effect.
I've only been on it a day, but I think I like it better than both Florinef and Midodrine. Which is good I guess, since I can no longer take either of those medications.
