I know I'll be accused of drug seeking, but the pain is getting to the point where I can't function.  I hate the humiliation of getting the third degree from the doctors.  I guess it gets down to the whole "cost-benefit" issue.  I'll try to let the pain levels come down and if they don't, a trip to the ER will be in order.

Pain is nearly overwhelming me

Humiliation

The pain continues to rise and is near the point to where I'll need help from the ER.  I know they think I'm seeking drugs, but I'll have to put up with the humiliation of the medical staff giving me the third degree just to get a little relief from the pain.  The only other option is to give in to the pain and end my life soon.

Things are moving forward

I was able to schedule an appointment with the pain doctor on the 29th of December.  And, I've contacted the orthopod who may operate on my neck.  I'm waiting for his office to make a decision if he'll accept me as a patient.  the pain is still bad and everyday I have to decide whether or not to go to the emergency room.  I have tried to sleep the pain off because I don't want to be accused of drug seeking.  I know my medical conditions will come to a head soon.  If the pain doctor and orthopod can't help me and opioid medication is not an option, then suicide will be the best remaining choice.  I have no life right now anyway, so death won't change anything anyway.

Out of Control Pain

Lower Back Pain

My pain is increasing daily.  My lower back is especially painful.  Last night, one of the toilets backed up and overflowed.  Terrible!  I had to use the steam cleaner and the hand tool to clean the mess.  My lower back took a pounding from being stuck in odd positions.  Today, the pain is particularly bad.
