Well, happy late 4th of July to everyone!
I keep getting pain in my broken wrist. I broke my wrist on June 2nd, while doing a relay race at school. I slipped on the wet grass and must have tried to catch myself from falling with my wrist. So, I went to the family doctor on June 3rd, and at the time we all thought it was just a sprain. They took my x-rays and so on, and they discovered that it was broken. The weird part was that I could still move my fingers. Anyways, from there, they sent me to an orthopedic specialist. They examined my wrist, then decided that they were gonna have to set the bones in place. I was awake during this. They numbed my wrist with a huge needle, and pushed the bones back to where they needed to be. Even though my wrist was numb, I still felt everything and it hurt so bad. They put a cast on it. However, then about two weeks later, on June 17th, I went in for a weekly checkup. They took x-rays and saw that the bones had moved again. So, on June 18th, I had to go for surgery. They put me to sleep and put 2 pins in my wrist. Now, my only concern is getting the pins out.
