I am now on my third week of Lyrica. The nerve pain seems to be getting worse in my right leg. My PCP now says that I have the signs of Fibromyalgia on top of everything else. I have gotten used to pain in my back over the past 23 years, I can get used to this too. I am not staying on pain medication for the rest of my life. I will survive and be a better person for it.

Hi, I was told when I was 33 I had the back off a 55 yr old. I am now 41, and have degenerative discs, mod to severe joint arthropathy resulting in grade 1 L4/5 spondylolisthesis and mild stenosis. I have anti-cardio-lipin APAS. I dont know if the two have caused this tho I have so much pain down my legs and have put on so much weight, as I can not even do the simplist things for more than 10-15 minutes. I have been told there is nothing that can help also. I sympathize. Dee41

I me that's just no an option. I will take any and do anything that allows me to keep functioning. Even on my worst days I still accomplish more than those around me.  I am 47, single (by choice), with symptoms first appearing in 1985 and diagnosis in 1989.

This illness takes what it wants but it will NOT tale it easily. It may win battles but IT WILL NOT WIN THE WAR.
I will retreat at times but it's only so I can regroup and get ready for the next battle.

I am still on my feet with the help of a walker on wheels, working full time as a contractor in the IT field. I have extreme pain in my legs with sensitivity to touch, numbness, pins and needles 24x7. I take 300mg of Lyrics and my wondering what next and how much  It's worked until to now but it waring thin. Any ideas??
