Oh finally some joy!

Well, I bought my latest issue of 'Beads etc" and did my usual of flicking through, when suddenly I saw MY beaded piece! I as a finalist in the competition! Woohoo!  I didn't win, bummer! The theme was the colour purple, so I made a crotcheted red wire piece with many different purple glass, plastic beads. I called it "Healing" and said that as purple is a healing colour it would help me in my recovery from thyroid surgery. It is a piece that sits just above the collar bone, and hides the scar! I said the red wire was like my life-blood and the purple would go through the red into my body, filling me with nice healing energy! I also got a private and personal letter from the company wishing me much luck with the thyroid surgery and my healing. yay!
