Okay so recently i got a dry patch on my stomach. I went to the dermatologist and she tested it and found it was just eczema. I developed a rash on my legs. but it started out small. just a few bumps. they dont itch constantly but throughout the day they will itch and when it itches its bad! It's spread on my legs. but has luckily not gone anywhere else. It almost looks like chicken pox. but it is not. It is raised as if it were a bug bite, but nothing is inside them. I dont know what it is. and i have had MRSA three times. and so the dermatologist said it almost looks like a staff infection and put me on 30 days of sulfamethoxazole/TMP DS TABITP (bactrum DS?) and Doxycycline 100MG..anyway i have taken them for 6 days and nothing has changed. They continue to spread. I'm worried. And its uncomfortable and embarrassing! My dermatologist also told me to contact the infectious disease doctor, and i have yet to do that but im going to try to make an appointment this week or early next week. Does anyone have any idea of what this could be?
I suffered a spotty rash starting at the top of my feet and eventually spreading up my legs and torso. I saw my dermatologist and she just looked at it and diagnosed it as excema. I don't recall the pills and creams I took but it did not work and the rash spread to my back and arms by the time I saw another dermatologist and got a skin biopsy. I was diagnosed with grannuloma annulare. Spare yourself from the grief and get another opinion and consider a biopsy.
I went back to the dermatologist today frustrated. She thought i didnt like what she was saying so she said she got the feeling i wasnt liking what she was saying and said she can refer me to another doctor. and i said no i respect her and like her thats why i came back i just want her to take the time to take a closer look and really try to figure this out. so she took two biopsy's on my leg and sent them to two different places and also started me on a steroid to get rid of the rash. so hopefully i will know soon
