RSL?
====

Are you a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime?

Pay attention to what you read.  After you read this, you will
know the reason it was sent to you!

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a
lifetime.  When you figure out which one it is, you will know
what to do for each person.

REASON:

When someone is in your life for a REASON. . .
It is usually to meet a need you have expressed.  They have come
to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance
and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are!  They are there for
the reason you need them to be.

Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an
inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring
the relationship to an end.

Sometimes they die.
Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.

What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire
fulfilled, their work is done.

The prayer you sent up has been answered.

And now it is time to move on.

SEASON:

When people come into your life for a SEASON it is because your
turn has come to share, grow, or learn.  They bring you an
experience of peace or make you laugh.  They may teach you
something you have never done.  They usually give you an
unbelievable amount of joy.  Believe it!  It is real!

But, only for a season.

LIFETIME:

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; things you
must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.

Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what
you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of
your life.

It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thank you for being a part of my life.

Stop here and just SMILE.

Work like you don't need the money.
Love like you've never been hurt.
And dance like no one is watching.

April, this is great! Thank you. It has made me suddenly see things very differently, and understand some things better.

Nice...... I love to dance when no one is looking, well maybe when children are..

I dance for my dog. She looks dubiously at me (thinking, I'm sure..."You can't eat this....you can't join in....this woman's nuts")
I dance for a big black dog-friend Jet, who looks like a black wolf. He grins at me (thinking "This crazy woman is my hero!")
I rarely dance for humans because I'm shy.

I agree....this is GREAT April.  I never looked at relationships like that before.  =)  I love it when you make us think w/ almost all of your journals.  Thinking and looking beyond are soooooo good for us!

Awesome! Whenever I watch the Moulin Rouge I just have to dance and act along with it! My dog looks at me like "You're crazy, but I love you."

This is one of the most beautiful pieces I have ever read! It sure does put things into perspective for me about things in my life!  It makes me think and feel like I have to slow down to enjoy the things around me. To think about who is in my life and who isn't. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
