My daughter was born almost 7 months ago with an extra finger on each hand. The doctors say they can tie a string around one but the other is too thick. So they want a to do surgery to remove them both. They say they have to put her to sleep to do the surgery but I really don't want them to do that. I feel it isn't really safe, especially on a baby. I was wondering if it would be possible to just numb the area and do the surgery that way?
