Craniotomy about to begin...

In half an hour doctors caring for my partners father is about to start a craniotomy to reduce the pressure in his brain caused by swelling (ICP) He had a stroke 7 days ago.  I would appreciate prayers please.  We are holding every hope that firstly he will survive the operation and then secondly in quick time we will see a recovery in his brain functions.  We are hoping and praying there is little (or no) permanent brain damage, we believe in miracles. If anyone would like to send advice, support, encourage or share their experiences it would be muchly appreciated.  Thanks.
