Does anyone else out there with Type I Diabetes have a hard time losing weight?  I'm looking to be healthy and fit, and it's just so challenging to balance it all when I have classes and more than one job!  If anyone has any successful experience in this area, please let me know any tips!  I'm looking to incorporate working out 5 times a week for at least an hour, and I've been buying nutritional and low-simple-sugar foods to get a start.  I also love to just chew on stuff when I'm busy working or stressed (an ice chewer! which unfortunately also leads to me eating junk even when I"m not hungry!)  One way I'm trying to change this oral fixation is by snacking on carrot sticks instead (because ice is bad for your teeth).  If anyone has tips for that too let me know!  Thankyou!!
