Mole/ freckle.

Hi there, i'm new to this site so not sure if i'm doing this right.  Ok, here goes.... I have a few moles/freckles on my arms, legs and face.  I noticed one by my left eye yesterday, although it has always been there.  Admittedly I was looking in a magnified mirror at the time.  It is symetrical, same colour throughout and is just as small as all the others.  What concerned me it that it has a black dot in the middle.  I saw a doc at work who said it could be a bladckhead & does not suggest anything nasty.  As a constant worrier I was wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences.  Thanks
