It has been 13 days since my surgery.  I am feeling a little better.  Still sore but can def see an improvement.  The movement in my neck is starting to come back to normal.  I have a nice scar on the left side of my throat but with time, that will go away for the most part.  I know I haven't had many people on here who act like they really give a **** but let me tell you, it has been nice just to come on and put my thoughts and fears down and if people read them, hopefully, it will help them in their journey.

I have learned a valuable lesson...never take life for granted.  I have a husband who really loves me but who doesn't understand one thing about what I am going thru and that makes it hard as well.

Hope this post finds everyone well and I really hope that someone out there who reads this will understand and maybe just send a little note my way letting me know that they read it and have some sort of understanding.  Take care.

Rose

It's a month after your note, and I'm wondering how you are feeling now.

Those first days are tough, having to depend more on others and hating it, and feeling sore and miserable.  I just passed 3 months, and I can't believe the difference!

Drop me a note if you get a chance, will you?
