Wow! Felt Great! Bought one Nordic Pole yesterday to use as a walking stick. What a diff. it made with regards to knees and balance. I tripped once and it caught me. On stairs and hills it took pressure off my knees. My speed was faster, core muscles tighter, and my knees and ankles are not sore. I would like to get them for my parents to help their walks, one for Dad, two for Mom, with a promise they'll try them for a week and then return them if needed. I'll bet they'll agree to any aide to help maintain walking longer.
