DCIS and masectomy

I have DCIS in my right breast . One area of infection is at 1 o'clock and the other is at 3 o'clock near my cleavage.  It is stage 0, grade 2.  It has been recommended that I have a masectomy with DIEP reconstruction. I have a BMI index of 30 so weight is an issue in surgery.  I'm going to one of the best centers (MD Anderson) but still am unsure about this decision.  Because the area of concern are in the thiner part of the breast, my doctor feels that masectomy is safer etc. than having radiation and removal of that quadrent.  Any body else faced with a similiar situation and what did you do?
